REAR. War is not just a front. The war is also the rear. During the decisive battle for Ukraine's independence, Lviv's Melpomene institutions became a lifeline for many of our refugee citizens. They transfer humanitarian aid to other cities and provide shelter to those in need. Fortunately, our historical and cultural sites have long been safe.
